Creafund CVA was established in November 2001 as a CVA and transformed to a NV in the course of 2019, reflecting the evergreen investor Creafund is. Creafund counts some 60 individual and entrepreneurial shareholders. The management team of Creafund retains approximately 8% of the shares, the rest is spread amongst these non-institutional entrepreneurs.  Most of them are entrepreneurs who have been successful in business (some of them more than once) and converted the growth of their business into cash through stock exchange, acquisitions or mergers.

Creafund Asset Management NV acts as Business Manager-Partner of Creafund. Creafund Asset Management was formed as a public limited company according to Belgian Law and operates as such completely independently with regard to the holding.

Besides a Board of Directors, Creafund has an advisory and audit committee which carries out certain tasks within the powers set down by legislation or by the internal regulations of Creafund. In particular, these tasks include controlling that investment and divestment decisions are properly executed as well as ensuring that the investment strategy and all regulations are respected.
